Event Bar Supervisor
This is an onsite part-time position. The Event Bar Supervisor will work with bartenders and Willow Brooke staff to maintain a high standard of service for clients hosting events at the facility.
Essential functions of the position:
Setting and maintaining standards for a safe and clean environment for staff and customers. Including kitchen, alcohol storage, and bar areas.
Ensure that staff follow local requirements and proper alcohol distribution regulations.
Train and supervise bar staff. Must be able to work independently and as a team.
Take inventory and receive deliveries.
Work and communicate with bar and venue teams regarding event details.
Setup and restock inventory and supply prior to events.
Properly handle monetary transactions.
Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for event guests.
Interact with customers, take orders, mix, and serve drinks.
Check customers' ID and confirm it meets the legal drinking age.
Communicate with team/owner in advance about schedule and time off requests, in case of emergency or sick days.

Ideal candidates will have:
Experience in a supervisor position required.
At least 2 years' experience in the bar or banquet industry.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance or willingness to learn.
Knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor.
Willingness to work nights and weekends.
Positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
Strong computer and communication skills.
Personal attributes of hospitality, cooperation, organization, accountability, creativity, and enthusiasm for all facets of the organization.
